Week 1. loving it and learning lots… slowly getting used to driving on the LEFT (after having my life flash before my eyes one too many times already!!!)

Alice v. Centipede. got a lil traumatized the other nite… but guess who’s ready for battle now?! DIE MOTHAF*CKAS DIE!
the past two months flew by in a blur… and i am slowly but surely settling into my new home, ST. CROIX, USVI! most of my junk are still in NY… and N is in cali… but other than that, i have pretty much set up shop here. new island, new job, new life… LOVE IT!
however, last week was kind of a big week… and not exactly in a good way so life is kinda turned upside down at the moment… and things are all kinda up in the air. tis is life i suppose. anyhoo… kinda moody at the moment, but prolly a case of the mondays 
on a lighter note, there are many many funnies/interesting tales from living on an island… still learning all the quirks and will post soon enuf. for now, some pix from my first island hopping trip to St. Kitts and Nevis

yawn…..2 down and 1 more to go! RARRRRR… brain is so fried. and felt like crying after the exam today… 
day 2 observations:
- i brought 11 #2 pencils… i guess by now, i have to acknowledge my compulsiveness…
- BUT i wasnt the only one that had an electric pencil sharpener in my purse, yes, the kind that you plug into the wall… just in case my 11 pencils didnt last me thru the 200 bubbles i had to fill out. but i bet MY SHARPENER WAS BETTER… sharpens 10pencils/per minute 
errr…just kidding i didnt check… or did i?!? haha
- i was so sleepy the first 30min after lunch, i had to pinch my hand to stay away… but just bought some chocolate covered expresso beans for tomorrow, hopefully that works better than the pinching
- oh oh, i noticed almost everyone wore the same outfit as yesterday… maybe everyone had their “lucky” outfits on? heehee i admit, i wore the same outfit as yesterday cuz its my MOST COMFY outfit… 4 layers
- man, this bar thang is really draining on the body, mind and soul… i dont think i have ever talked to myself so much in my head (little pep talks like, “go get em tiger” “you got this” ”slow and steady wins the race” to name a few cornier ones)… is this normal? nevermind, dont answer that question….
aight back to barbri… i still dont know what to do after the exam manana… was thinking vegas…but prolly gonna stick around somewhere local…
YAY ONE DAY DOWN, TWO MORE TO GO!
a few observations from the bar exam today:
- it confirmed my suspicions, the nerdiness is the same from coast to coast….
- law students/lawyers singlehandedly keep highlighter/pen companies in business… looking around, everyone had at least 3-5 different color highlighters and 10 pens (note – i was in the laptop room!)
- i admit, i had 5 different color highlighters and 5 different color pens… (i didnt even think i was THAT neurotic but evidence says otherwise… 
)
OMG :::heart pounding:::
first, i dreamt about the bar exam ALLLLLLL NITE…basically all 13 topics were a player in my dream at some point
then, woke up to this nitemare where i wrote the WRONG PART (ie. PT) first and didnt realize my mistake until there’s only 1 hour on the clock, meaning i had to write all 3 essays in 1 hour… and i actually went through all 3 essays, while simultaneously freaking out about getting disqualified for writing PT part first. i woke up right after the proctors collected the exams. UMMMM WTF! guess subsconsciously, i never stopped thinking about the exam. on the up side, i recited the correct law in my dream….
48-hour count down… I AM READY TO ROCK AND ROLL BABY!!!
some random thoughts (get those A LOT these days
- i think i have gone to bed with a barbri book in hand almost every nite for the past few weeks…maybe this explains the nitemares?
- multiple choice Q re: battery. Guy A gets accidentally hit by Guy B while jogging, he pulls out his knife and stabs Guy B. ummm, where the F does Guy A keep his knife when he’s jogging??? and WHY?! prolly jogging thru compton. NOTE – i got the question right.
-and wtf to all those words that i never see except in law books??? hmm nothing comes to mind right now. oh wait, seisin. enuf said.
